March 23rd - November 15th (year-round employment possible)
Approximately 90% of your time is spent on field activities, and 10% is focused on management activities.
Managing crew leads and teams in the field, and verifying that all the tasks are completed to the level expected by our clients.
General maintenance and miscellaneous landscape tasks include; pruning, weeding, care of seasonal containers, dead-heading, mulching, watering, planting annual flowers, perennials, small trees and shrubs.
Planning schedules for field teams to complete work – specifying tasks and defining the time allotted to complete the tasks.
Communicating with staff and management as needed to resolve client problems in the field.
Reviewing time sheets weekly for accuracy.
The position requires at least one year of relevant leadership experience, and 2-3 years of field experience.
The ability to develop weekly schedules and manage 1 – 2 teams to complete the specified tasks in the time allotted.
Preference will be given to individuals that have garden and container design experience, and a working knowledge of herbaceous and small woody plants.
MNLA certification and a Minnesota Pesticide Applicators License is a plus (or the willingness to obtain these certifications, paid for by the employer)
The skill and ability to work in inclement weather conditions and a clean driving record.
Successful candidates will have good time management and project management skills, a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and be comfortable driving trucks and operating small power equipment.
Pay and Benefits
Wage: $15.00 - $25.00/hour for a 40-45 hour work week; DOQ. Fulltime employment or seasonal
Seasonal Paid Holidays – Memorial Day, 4thof July, Labor Day
3 personal days during the season (more time off will impact any potential for bonus pay)

Flexible schedule from November 15th to March 15th (for fulltime employment only)
